  We chose this place because it was 8pm and we had been on the road since 330am and its proximity to the Country Inn & Suites was less than 300 yds walking distance. POOR decision! We walked in and we were seated in the dining room which was entirely empty except for the 2 of us. Even though it was extremely loud in the bar area I asked to be seated in there so we didn't feel like lepers. Definitely a local hang out. Food was very bland and over priced. Ordered the New York Strip and shrimp for $24.50. I had to salt and pepper the heck out of it to give it flavor and the shrimp were cocktail size rather than the butterfly shrimp that you would normally expect with a steak and shrimp meal. The waitress was somewhat pleasant when we arrived but by the end of the meal we felt as though she just wanted us outa there. Asked if we cared for dessert, which there was nothing listed on the menu to which we declined but failed to asked if we cared for anything else to drink, placed our ticket on the table and said, "you can pay this at the bar, and then disappeared. Save your money, drive down the road a short distance, and get treated like you matter!

  I went into Bridgewater Restaurant last Friday and had a great experience. A friend and I met for lunch, a nice waitress approached us and told us about their lunch special of the day which was a bacon cheeseburger. I got fries with it and my friend ordered the sweet potatoe fries. We were very very very impressed. Food came out in good time, great service and honestly one of the better burgers/ lunches I have had. Great time, good price, great food- I recommend Bridgewater Restaurant to anyone!

  Wow, people don't know what they want. I needed a beer and some food, and this place is like a comfortable pair of boots. If you need a place to recharge your batteries, this is it. Edit: the beer cheese soup is good.... ignore the other comment.
